Our Eisteddfod is a little different to most.
We like to present students of all levels, ages and abilities with the oppportunity to perform and compete on stage in a friendly and suppportive environment.
Our "NOVICE" sections allow students that would not normally compete at eisteddfods to have a go.
Our "NOVICE" sections are made up of routines that are not choreographed specifically for competition but generally for your studios annual concert. These groups would generally only perform a small handful of times in a year and may not even have the entire class participate on our eisteddfod day.
"Class Trained" solo/duo/trio competitors are those competing with their class routine and have not received private lessons.
Class trained solo participants are to dance in groups of 2 or 3 if there are more than 1 of them competing with the same routine but will still have their own individual competitor number and be marked individually. This minimises the amount of time that the same routine is performed in one section and provides comfort for the less experienced competitor allowing them to enjoy their time onstage.
Prompting is permitted for our class trained solo sections and solo competitors may have a friend that is not competeing dance with them for support.
